Gamaka also known as Kaavyavaachana is the ancient art of singing poems of India along with elocusion to recreate the emotion, values and stories in the Kaavya. It usually done by a pair of performers, one singing poems with emphasis on the story and emotion; the second explains the meaning and presents an interpretation. Ancient Kannada and Sanskrit Kaavyas are usually chosen.
